This design is based on the concept that with a certain perspective money doesn't really matter, experiences do. I mean... money definitely matters to a point. I believe once you have enough money where your bills are covered, you can maintain your lifestyle, and save for retirement- then the rest is just monopoly money.
You can choose to do whatever you want with your extra money. You can give, you can spend, or you can save. Whatever is your motive and goals.
However, when I think about the experiences I have had fishing... I don't think "oh man that was expensive." Money doesn't even come to mind actually. I think of all the cool unique environments. When I think back to a couple everglades and keys trips- It's like time was going by in slow motion. I can remember the ancient mangroves, the new bays and waterways I have never been to, the fish of course, the crocodiles acting the fool, the other boats I saw even though it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.
Memories and experiences are very valuable to us. I get in super saver mode sometimes- I have extreme goals, so it's nice to create a design that reminds myself that experiences are valuable too.
Thanks for following along!
I just want to shoutout the company that I used as a reference for the flats boat. That is a Flood Tide Boatworks Skiff. You can check out their website here, and follow them on instagram here.
Also, feel free to subscribe to my emails at the bottom of the page if you'd like to follow along with the daily designs and blog posts about them. I am going to try to do 5 designs a week, and send out 1 email a week about them.
